Table and chairs as one set, which removes the gap that is hardest to fix afterwards.
It is built from MDF panel and steel frame.
It extends from 43.3 in to 59 in, which moves it from an everyday table to a table for guests without either size being a compromise.
A set removes the one mistake that is hard to undo later: the gap between table height and seat height. Ten to twelve inches is comfortable, and a table and chairs bought together already agree on it.
Storage along the wall is the half of a dining room that gets planned last and decides whether the table stays clear. Adjustable shelves matter more than raw volume here, because a stack of plates and a stand mixer are not the same height. The rest of the room is on kitchen & dining.
