This wardrobe sits on our bedroom shelf. Put together it stands 63 in wide by 19 in deep by 67 in high.
Underneath the finish it is built from MDF panel and steel frame. For storage there are 2 drawers.
Two or three smaller things: anti-tip hardware is in the box and the instructions call for it to be fitted, the slat bearings are damped, which is where bed noise comes from and the hinges are soft-close.
Hanging height is the figure that decides whether a wardrobe works, and it is the one most often left off a page. A full length coat wants around 60 inches of clear drop, shirts and jackets about 40.
Every bed page here states the three numbers that decide how a frame lives: slat spacing, total weight capacity and the clearance under the frame. Slat spacing matters most, because a mattress warranty usually requires slats no more than about three inches apart, and a frame that fails that quietly voids the mattress rather than the frame. The rest of the room is on bedroom, and how to choose a size is worked through in The Bed Frame Guide: Slats, Storage and Why Beds Squeak.
