A changing table from our bedroom range. Put together it stands 17.7 in wide by 41.5 in deep by 36.4 in high.
Underneath the finish it is built from MDF panel. For storage there are 4 drawers and 2 shelves.
Two or three smaller things: anti-tip hardware is in the box and the instructions call for it to be fitted and the surface is finished to resist water.
A changing table is used one handed, at speed, with the other hand on the baby. Everything about a good one follows from that: a rail on all four sides, and storage you can reach without turning round.
Every bed page here states the three numbers that decide how a frame lives: slat spacing, total weight capacity and the clearance under the frame. Slat spacing matters most, because a mattress warranty usually requires slats no more than about three inches apart, and a frame that fails that quietly voids the mattress rather than the frame. The rest of the room is on bedroom, and how to choose a size is worked through in The Bed Frame Guide: Slats, Storage and Why Beds Squeak.
