This is our king size frame, built around a 76 x 80 in mattress.

Structurally it is built from steel frame, steel slats.

Built-in power gives you 2 AC outlets and a USB-A port. It is an extension of the socket it plugs into rather than a circuit of its own.

Two or three smaller things: the slat bearings are damped, which is where bed noise comes from and no box spring is needed.

A frame is judged after the first month rather than in the photograph. Slat spacing keeps the mattress flat, the centre legs keep the middle from dropping, and damped slat bearings are what keep it silent.

A bedroom is planned around one number nobody prints: the walking space left once the bed is in. Two feet on any side you use, thirty inches at the foot if there is a route past it. Frame dimensions rather than mattress dimensions are the ones to measure with, and they are on every page in bedroom.
