This is our twin size frame, built around a 38 x 75 in mattress. Assembled size is 41 in wide by 78 in deep by 29 in high. Shipping weight is 90.4 lb.

Structurally it is built from steel frame, with steel slats, rated to 350 lb. For storage there are 8 drawers.

Guard rails on the upper deck stand 2.5 in above the sleeping surface, and rail height is measured from the top of the mattress rather than from the deck.

Details worth knowing: anti-tip hardware is in the box and the instructions call for it to be fitted, the slat bearings are damped, which is where bed noise comes from and the feet adjust, so a floor that is slightly out does not make it rock.

A bedroom is planned around one number nobody prints: the walking space left once the bed is in. Two feet on any side you use, thirty inches at the foot if there is a route past it.
