Twin Bed Frame with 3 Storage Drawers

This is our twin size frame, built around a 38 x 75 in mattress.

Underneath the finish it is slats. Storage comes as 3 drawers.

Power is built in: 2 AC outlets. What it does is move the socket to where the phone actually sleeps. It does not add capacity to the room. It runs on lockable castors, so it moves between rooms and then stays where it is put.

Two or three smaller things: the slat bearings are damped, which is where bed noise comes from.

A frame is judged after the first month rather than in the photograph. Slat spacing keeps the mattress flat, the centre legs keep the middle from dropping, and damped slat bearings are what keep it silent.

A bedroom is planned around one number nobody prints: the walking space left once the bed is in. Two feet on any side you use, thirty inches at the foot if there is a route past it.
