Twin Corner Bed Frame with 2 Storage Drawers

About this piece

This is our twin size frame, built around a 38 x 75 in mattress. Put together it stands 47 in wide by 83 in deep by 32 in high.

Structurally it is built from steel frame, with slats, rated to 800 lb. For storage there are 2 drawers.

Assembly takes about 24 hours with the tools supplied.

On any frame the figures that decide how it lives are the same three: how far apart the slats sit, how much the frame carries in total, and how much support runs down the centre line rather than only at the corners.

The two failures a bed frame actually has are a dip in the middle and a click when somebody turns over. The first comes from support: legs down the centre line rather than only at the corners.
